Membership

Membership of the society is open to all residents of East Morton (or anyone with an interest in the village for that matter). Annual cost is £3 for individual membership or £5 for full household membership. This can be sent to Stephen Duxbury at Redwoods, Morton Lane, East Morton, BD20 5RP or handed into his offices at Bethel Hall (behind the Congregational Chapel) during working hours. The money raised through this form of membership helps towards the cost of production of the village newsletter.

Lottery

Membership of the lottery at £12 per year entitles the participant to a permanent number. A monthly draw takes place in the Busfeild Arms when prizes are allocated as follows:

1st £100

2nd £50

3rd £25

4th £15

5th £10

Additional larger prizes are drawn at the annual gala.

The lottery is the most important fund raising facility for the society. Around 50% of the income is distributed in prizes with the remainder used by the society for the benefit of the village.
